About Aaron
Every child deserves to be understood.
Maybe your child has been having big feelings, shutting down, becoming anxious, or acting in ways you don't quite understand.
Maybe you've tried talking, explaining, comforting — and you're still wondering:
“What does my child need from me?”
Or perhaps you're the one who has been holding everything together, but underneath, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired.
You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.
Hi, I'm Aaron.
I'm a Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) with a background in social work, child development and early childhood education.
For more than 10 years, I've worked alongside children, adults and families through difficult emotions, relationships and life experiences.
What I've learned is that sometimes words aren't enough.
A child might show us how they feel through behaviour.
An adult might know something feels wrong, but struggle to explain it.
Art gives us another way in.
